Soil — is a social media campaign developed for the well-known German artist Wolfgang Laib. It was designed to teaser and promote his exhibition at theKunstmuseum Stuttgart. In order to be present on social media for a month, the letters are intentionally posted one by one and in weekly intervals.

The tools and materials that Laib uses for his artworks were placed at the center of the campaign and animated into letters using stop-motion techniques. When strung together, the letters form the English word » soil « which refers to the top layer of the earth's surface. Symbolically, it stands for the cultural foundation and shows Wolfgang Laib's relationship to nature as the creative basis of his work.
