Jazz & Pop Festival — State University of Music and the Performing Arts Stuttgart


For the 9th Jazz & Pop Festival, Klasse Thomas was commissioned to create a poster campaign to promote the two-day festival featuring established guest musicians and students from theState University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart . The winning poster of the competition was printed and displayed in indoor and outdoor locations in Stuttgart and on social media.

Each poster proposal has its own motion behavior, showing the diversity of jazz music. What all three poster animations have in common is their close relationship to rhythm and chaos. Each of the three posters reflects this state in its own way, with a quicker or more relaxed tempo.
