Rundgang 2022 — Salzburg University of Applied Sciences




Rundgang is an annual graduation show at theUniversity of Applied Sciences Salzburg . It showcases the work of over 600 multimedia and programming students through film screenings, exhibitions and live performances. The identity of the graduation show is redesigned every year, and for 2022, the captcha was placed at the center of the campaign.

2022 was a year of challenging changes, where war was on the doorstep, heat waves were reaching their highest levels and Corona variants were still raging. Images related to these topics could be hidden by using the captcha as a keyvisual. The large number of popping cursors and hidden messages in the captcha were meant to refer to the feeling of being overwhelmed by the problems in our world. The cursor animation became a core motion behavior, connecting different UI elements and initiating transitions.
